We are looking for a highly experienced Android developer with years of experience in developing location-aware applications. Your overall role in this job will be to help us evaluate the Android developer candidates in our own market. The applicant is required to perform the following tasks: 1. preparing an assignment for our android developer candidates that will be used as a part of their interview process. The outcome of this task will be the assignment's description and its solution. 2. evaluating the candidate's solution (to the assignment mentioned above) and participating in an interview session (remotely) to evaluate our candidate's technical knowledge. The outcome of this task will be your contribution in making the decision to accept or decline the candidate. The requirements for the candidates who will take the assignment are as follow: - At least 4 years of experience in developing native Android applications (point us to your apps on Google Play) - In-depth knowledge of Android SDK - Familiar with using Git and Git flows - Experienced in building location-aware applications - Experienced in building online applications with offline capabilities - Experienced in building secured applications - Experience with RESTful API and WebSocket - Disciplined in following TDD - Familiar with design patterns - Disciplined in documentation - Skilled in debugging - Familiar with scrum - Interested in working in a startup environment Special bonus point: - Proficiency with PHP and MySQL Bonus points: - Ability to give insightful opinions about developing for mobile - Your Github profile with some quality projects - Fluent in English - Familiar with remote work The details about the assignment to be designed and your participation in the interview process can be discussed if you see yourself fit for this job.
