Just following up on the structure you require for your Architect business. The bid I have placed includes setting up 3 trust structures (1 unit trust and 2 family trusts) and any advise you need that goes with this. We will need to discuss whether or not you wish to put in place a corporate trustee within the trusts (which I would normally recommend for asset protection reasons). If you do go with corporate trustee there is an additional ASIC fee of $444 per company. Also, if you are unrelated business partners you may also want to consider a unit holder agreement which will define each partners roles and responsibilities which should be drawn up by a solicitor.
