This project mainly focuses on Cuffless Blood Pressure Measurement and touches on tissue and bio-engineering. Cardio vascular disease is the first reason of mortality in humans. Blood pressure is usually measured using cuff approach. Although accurate and popular, it cannot provide real-time monitoring. Thus there is a need to investigate on the use of cuffless blood pressure measurement. In the project, cuffless blood pressure will be measured using the dermal pressure sensor and pulse transit time. I would need a short report to be done, roughly 3-5 pages long, and mainly on the blood pressure, invasive and non-invasive BP measurement and also a literature review on cuffless blood pressure measurement.
