This is a project to place a "tag" above objects seen by the user wearing a Microsoft Hololens, using geographic info provided by GPS and other signals. See attached image. You should have prior experience using Hololens developer software available from Microsoft.

The goal is to create a game that will mimic RC-model flying with Microsoft Hololens AR glasses. The game has to be as realistic as possible. the project has an option for growth with additional features, therefore the design has to support those add-on capabilities. the control on the plane will be done using an RC flight box via Bluetooth - similar to an Xbox controller.
We are looking for someone to help us design a proof-of-concept 3D Hololens model of a mining operation in Northern Finland. Initially our aim would be to show how the mine would change over time (i.e. scenario analysis, etc). We would also want another 'data' visualisation layer incorporated into this, so that we can change certain parameters and it would show in different colours in the pit - in addition to showing how it changes with time.) The 3D pit models already exist as part of the mine planning process - specifically, we can provide the following: - DXF files (3D) showing the evolution of the mine over time. - A ’block model’ export which gives the XYZ and the corresponding feature/labels/overlays. If the proof of concept goes well, we are hoping to commerialise this model - to allow mine planners to easily upload different mining scenarios and then view this using the Hololens.
