noting is stolen here.. even a kid can see that the person character is always dynamic. I am asking you. Would you like to choose company logo as a pencil sketch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i have seen your designs. and i think you should not able to comment on someone else work.

It IS stolen. Someone else drew it, you didn't, you copied and pasted it! This is not allowed. Read the copyright laws! And btw, I can comment, free speech and all. I know my designs are basic, I've only been learning the software for 4 weeks, but I have been a traditional artist for many years, so I do know a few things.

2nd PLACE THROUGH 5th PLACE- We are now picking 2nd through 5th place. Two of you have been contacted - The remaining three will be contacted shortly. This is overwhelming because of all the excellent logos. We are picking from the "top" teacher picks and not picking by their exact vote count. I have contacted Freelancer to see how I can pay the next winners.

What a farce. Other people's ideas are supposed to be an inspiration to create something more, not simply to copy and paste in your tea break. That's the way it is, I guess. Who'd be a CH?

from thorn to the hawthorn....bookkey.png is the same shameless copy-paste of two stock images, the book is the same as that one http://passeadiantetaubate.com.br . I can show you the key where is coming from when the "designer" resubmit it again...next one please :) thats ridiculous dear contest holder :) the half of your ultra special selection of "attractive" logos are from the same team....

so which is which? the note said 'pick your favorite' to the teachers. it doent indicate which entry is 2nd, 3rd 4th or 5th. but wait, are you sticking with your choice as the winner? if so, wow! you just bought a problem for $490. and it's not fair to ask that person to change his design. it's a contest. and it very obvious that he copied the child from somebody else. he simply removed the sorrounding white background and pasted it. that alone is ground to disjualify his entry. come on now- 11 years ago

Lets think that its not a copycat design. Please check his profile and works in progress. You can see that %100 of his designs are rejected by other contest holders. So please try to understand which kind of thing you are about to get from him...Good luck...

when people using internet searches your company name on google, they are mostly your clients.. they will see these all messages since this message board is public. so please think twice before selecting him.. its also not good for your brand's image between clients who searches and finds this.

Contest holder,
Last piece of advice. A logo is an artwork that represents the company. Your target audience/clients should be able to get a feel of what your company stands for, what service you are providing. And there should be research and reasoning behind it. (For example: Since you are providing "learning to read" to young kid, the color green gives people a sense of growth, and that should imply to the design.) Since the parents would probably be the one that's selecting your institute for their kids to learn, you should give them a sense of trustworthy, THAT will bring you business. But not some (no offense) kiddish and armature looking logo.
To be honest, with the money you are willing to spend for this logo, you can really get something professional.
Good luck!- 11 years ago

The winning logo is number 8 on our chart at http://www.academictesting.net/freelancer/chart1.jpg - it is not #8 as displayed here on freelancer.- 11 years ago

Looking at the way the so called winner's fault is being shadowed and covered, its no use teaching/ making someone understand about having the right EYE for selecting something that looks good. Good Luck readingkey inc.

Indeed Sarah, it should be rejected and not persued. I've only been learning Illustrator for 3/4 weeks and my designs were very basic, and I did not expect to be in the running. However, there were many really good designs and how this amateurish piece won, I do not know. No accounting for taste.

I contacted the original artist of the boy on the key and he said that the child design is being used with another book company, but he could make another similar type design. Does anyone know if the key itself used in the winning logo is copyrighted?
