Contest Brief

I need a design for the logo of our app named Ping Pong. The app is an educational app that enables users to share their skills (Cooking, Maths, Languages etc) via 1to1 video (thus mirroring the back and forth nature of a Ping Pong game). I'm open to suggestions on how this should look but it would be good to include a representation of the video with a Ping Pong theme. The design should be simple and minimalistic: think Airbnb, Instagram, Snapchat.

This is an example of something that I liked but it does not convey what our app does:

The main colour of the application is: #7A61E5. The secondary colour is #D3CCFE. I'd like the icon to have a white background with usages of these two colours for the logo. This is an example of how these colours could work together: https://dribbble.com/shots/2461819-Dog-Icon. I like the minimalist but fun design of these icons.

The winner should include original assets and Photoshop / Illustrator files. The winner will waive all rights to the image and grant them to me on payment.

Some of these ideas are good such as #33 and #14. I do think the app is about more than simply pressing play though. This is not a simple video app but an exchange of skills. No entry has explored the possibility of incorporating the educational aspect of the application.
