Contest Brief

We are a charity which teaches young people film and television skills.
Our logo was put together in a bit of a rush - and isn't that professional.
We have been invited to take part in quite a big industry awards ceremony and so want to update our logo.
So I would like it to be red black and white. Black background (or very dark grey), white font and red aperture sign.
I would like the font to look really defined - and possibly 'cinematic'. And of course for the red aperture sign to also look atmospheric.
It would be great to know what can look really good.
