Contest Brief

Requirements:
1) A professional and impactful logo that reflects the feel-good nature of the company’s name. We want to reflect professionalism, credibility, warmth and trust.
2) The logo should include the following text... Bee Good Property
3) The logo should include a picture / drawing of a ‘bee’
4) We expect the logo to be of a rectangular shape as we will use the logo on business stationery, website, Facebook, YouTube, business cards etc

Suggestions:
1) ‘Bee Good’ could be pronounced / bigger and above the word the ‘Property’ with the bee to the left of the words (Like in the attachment which is displayed for positional purposes only).
2) The bee to use is the black & white picture but it should be coloured using the same colours used for the text in the logo. The bee should be gold (where it is white on the head and abdomen), chocolate brown (everywhere it is black) and the inside of the wings left transparent (where the inside of the wings is white). Please refer to the file 'Manchester Bee 1 Cropped'.
3) Colours to use:
i. Warm feeling but dark brown (e.g. Chocolate Brown, see attachment)
ii. Warm feeling sun-kissed yellow / orange (e.g. Gold, see attachment)

Please Note - If you want to try something away from the suggestions then that is your choice to try something else. However, currently I think the suggestions will work well.

Further Requirements:
On award, we require all of the various design file types including (not exhaustively) pdf, jpg, png, pdf, ai, bmp, psd, tif etc. You will need to specify the exact font types and the exact colours used. Please try to use fonts that can be replicated easily enough. Your files should contain one version with a white background and another version with a transparent background. There may be some minor amendments required post award so please be prepared to work with us to get the design as we would like. Any post award works need to be completed promptly as we require the logo as soon as possible.

Nice to see #1 Emmanuel understood the 'Suggestions' in the description perfectly. The bee looks excellent in terms of the colours applied, it is exactly as suggested. However, I think the bee needs to be a little slimmer / thinner / smaller but not so thin that it becomes a wasp! :-) The position of the lettering is as suggested... It would be good to see some different fonts applied to 'BEE GOOD PROPERTY' (all capitals). Also, would be good to see some different fonts applied to 'Bee Good Property' (some capitals and some lower case). The attachment was to propose positioning of the 'bee' and the words more than anything else.
