Contest Brief

Contest to design a kitchen for new construction. I have included a SAMPLE layout of the kitchen, view from all directions, and appliance and sink models. The winner of the contest will make the kitchen cabinets flow beautifully and use our appliances and requirements. As designs come back I will give feedback in general chat.

1) stove wall should be a feature wall
2) window must be in the same location. it can be made smaller or bigger. The view is of the ocean so please don't to make it too small
3) Island seating should be either facing the window or in its current position. the island should not have the stove in it
4) feel free to add other items like in wall coffee station if they help your design
5) the ceiling height will be 9'6
6) use a white shaker for the doors. hingeless framed cabinet

    dont feel the need to copy my layout. that was only a recommendation. for example we dont like the cabinets dropping down to the counter around the stove. We do like the large rectangular hood. but there are lots of rectangular hood and different ways to design them

    Is it mandatory to use exact appliance models? This would skyrocket the price and time needed to model and shade all those elements.

    2D layout can win as long as all sides are shown but I think 3rd rendering would have a higher chance. Autocad is not required
