Contest Brief

Design a poster inspired by Frank Ocean and his works. All styles welcome.

He evades the public eye, appears rarely in interviews, has no social media aside from Tumblr (frankocean.tumblr.com). He is quite enigmatic. Common themes in his music are unrequited love, queer sexuality, impermanence, summers, nostalgia, and family.

It would be good if the design captures some things about him or his music. Plus points if the design is subtle/low-key, and will only be easily identified by fellow fans.

Clarifications:
- Vertical poster preferred but horizontal is welcome.
- The poster will be printed as either 18x24 in or 11x17 in.
- No strong preference on text, as long as the overall design is subtle and understated.
- It is not required to put his face on the poster :) You may reference any of his works.

      Hi, what kind of details will help? Design-wise, it's quite open-ended. I'm just looking for a tastefully understated design. I'm not sure if I should get more specific than that because this is a contest, after all.
