Contest Brief

First things first: I'm a pretty successful iOS developer and CTO of 2 big start ups. I ALWAYS need designers so if your design is awesome, I can practically guarantee follow up projects!

This App is basically a favor for a friend of mine. For me a non-profit project. The App is meant for his Barber Shop - for his Barbers to create their appointments on a central stage and in the next phase for Users to book through a customer version of the App.

In this video you can see the current App in live demo. The home screen is a see through background. The app has a 4 way swipe.

North is a "Settings Controlle" where the Admin can setup the Barbers, the Appointments and later log out.

South is a "Map Controller" where the Admin can see the Users in real time.

East is the "Customers Controller" where the Admin can see all the customers and administrate them. Like add new customers and set their names.

West is the actual "Calendar Controller". Here you can select the Barber, create Appointments, administrate them and close them.

This 4 way swipe with the seethrough home page is the only thing that is mandatory in the design. Everything else is open for suggestions and designer inspiration.

I know this contest is not super lucrative, but you will create a cool design for an even cooler barber shop in California. It's worth it.

    Logo the way the customer is having it in his shop. Maybe someone can remove the background and manipulate the layers to the logo can be transformed as in this image

      Obviously the original colors of the logo are not exactly perfect to incorporate into this project. So feel free to make the logo a 1 colored layer or mask or something

    Few Questions:
    1) What does heart icon do?
    2) What is the purpose of map?
    3) Customer can book an appointment?
    4) Is this app only for admin/barber to book appointments on behalf of their customers?

      Heart Icon is alternative for Swipe gesture. Like you have in snapchat the buttons on the bottom that perform nothing but the swipe.

      Purpose of map is a real time view of customers near by.

      Customer will be able to book appointments using their own app.
      This particular app is basically the admin version. Meant only for the barbers. The customers will have a super similar version with much less features of course.
