Design brief
To design a logo for OSCE Station

It should represent a web-based medical education learning platform which helps provide free educational content for healthcare professionals (mainly medical students) in the form of videos, web lectures and pdfs/ebooks to help them pass their exams and expand their knowledge as health professionals. We also plan to run medical education courses and introduce an online forum and podcast and eventually put out a mobile application.

OSCE is an exam for health professionals which stands for “Objective structured clinical examination” which examines clinical skill performance, which is what a lot of our content will be based around (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objective_structured_clinical_examination).

OSCE station was established in 2011 and is located in Hampshire, England, however it is an international business with a global audience and reach.

Target market – Healthcare professionals from medical/nursing students to postgraduate nurses/doctors looking to pass their OSCE exams and expand their medical knowledge.

Perception
We want to be perceived as the “good guys” of medical education as all of our content is accurate and free for everyone.

Where possible the design should promote the following words: Professional, friendly, trustworthy, innovative, quality, relevant, enthusiastic, accessible, creative, knowledgeable, informed and unique.

Our ideas for logo - Please see attached mood board for logos we like, the trends we like and could be included and the potential colour palette. We really like the “flat transparent geometric” theme and the “transparent links” theme that is on the mood board. The logo should include an icon (perhaps health “+” sign, or stethoscope). Main focus should be on “medicine” and “education”.

The design must be simple, elegant and clean. Must include colour red.

The design must not be loud, busy or cluttered or include the colour green.

The design must work well both online, through social media and website, as well as offline through promotional materials such as T-shirts and banners.

Need to be willing to provide the original vector graphics files (Adobe Illustrator .ai, or Blender .blend formats) to allow the logo to be scaled later as required as well as jpg files.

Font: ONLY sans serif fonts

Please take a look at the ATTACHED MOOD BOARD, you are more likely to be awarded if you create logos which use the same style as the "flat transparent geometric" and the "transparent links". Be as creative as possible
