Contest Brief

Colors is a brand new Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) youth and young adult space and resource center for the River Region of Alabama. Our non-profit organization is in need of an eye-catching logo that signifies the many colors of our young community.

We would like the logo to feature:
-the ENTIRE color spectrum (including black and white)
-an image that incorporates the counties of the River Region in Alabama that we cover (Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga counties ... depicted in one of the attached images)
-we would like to have the words "Colors" worked into the logo but it's not necessary so long as the logo is memorable
-We would like to have an image of the Alabama River depicted (either literally or artistically) ... we'd like the color spectrum to be incorporated into the river
-A few unique things about the River Region: it was at the heart of the American civil rights movement, Montgomery County is the seat of the state capitol

-Other ideas: incorporate a silhouette of the state of Alabama, incorporate children or young people in some way, a heart that surrounds the river,

We've attached some ideas of things we think would be helpful in shaping the logo but be unique ... as our organization is unique! Please feel free to ask questions.
