Contest Brief
Property Management Website
______________________________________________
1. The Website
A new website is required as a portal for users to log-in and view details of 1 or more rental properties. Once a user has logged in they will see a page listing each property they have (or are renting), including details of the address, rental $ amount, and details of previous rental payments.
A user may also add new properties to their portfolio, either as a renter or owner.
The basic site map is:
Home Page
|---> Sign-Up
|---> Login
|---|---> Dashboard (portfolio of all properties)
|---|---|---> Add New Property
|---> About Us
|---> Contact Us
|---> Legal Bits
______________________________________________
2. Who Will use the Website
Two types of users must be able to sign-up and login to the website, a tenant (the person renting a property) and the land lord (the person who owns the property).
______________________________________________
3. The Technical Stuff
- The website must use a JSON REST API which already exists. This API has been developed in house and connects to our back end system. The address for the API (and examples for all calls) can be taken from the sample code provided in 4.
- The website must use AngularJS (https://angularjs.org/ )
- Users must be able to login using:
o Username and Password
o Google
o Facebook

4. A Head Start!
To give developers a head start, a sample application can be viewed here:
http://projectdemofeb2016.azurewebsites.net/
Even better, the source code for the demo, which includes all the code to log users in and perform Get and Post commands to the backend API, is available on GitHub here:
https://github.com/DACcer/PropertySiteDemo
The demonstration website does not allow for Facebook login, but it does work for creating new users, as well as Google auth.

5. Design
The provided wire frames are guides only, please feel free to try something completely different. The site needs to be clean and simple to use.
*The demo website is for technical purposes only and does not represent how we want to layout the website* the wire frames provide a better guide as to what is needed.
The website will need the standard filler pages such as ‘About Us’, ‘Contact Us’, Terms of Use’. These pages can just have some made up text within.

6. Deliverables
The following website pages must be delivered (fully developed and working). Delivery includes all code.
- A landing page, something simple and elegant. This page should also incorporate a login area. Something along these lines: https://cdn.designsrazzi.com/images/2014/05/Condio_Real_Estate_One_Page_HTML_Landing_Page_Template.jpg
- A signup page, something like https://www.crayon.co/page/7529543/

- All source code and intellectual property is to be delivered.

7. In the Future
There are over a dozen pages required for the new website, but this competition is to find the right developer and designer for the job.
The successful applicant may have the opportunity to take on a second contract to arrange for the development of the rest of the website.
This website will be maintained by a small in-house development team, so code readability and maintainability is paramount.
