Contest Brief

Logo required for an established wholesale food distribution business. Currently trades under a name that does not represent the goods sold.

The business is considered as broadline food service, distributing categories of dry, frozen, chilled, dairy, meat, packaging and commercial chemicals products in the hospitality industry.

Niche for the business is upmarket cafes and restaurants, looking to market ourselves to the individuals in those business’s(chefs, restaurant owners)

Please focus on representing themes of FOOD and TRANSPORT, rather than dining.

We require:
• 2 (positive and negative space variations)
• 2 different front cover designs for various design purposes(Brochures, marketing material)

Emphasise should be placed on engaging, colourful images that represent what we do, or our products end result (food/dishes to customers in restaurants). They should turn heads and prompt questions as to who we are as a business and what we do.

Logos with any BC initials or lettering in the icon/logo will be rejected. Lettering underneath/beside/on top an icon is fine but must not be incorporated into the icon.

If you request more information please email myself and I can provide that, we are trying to get some fresh ideas and innovative artwork, so please feel free to think outside the box.

no offence to the creator but ,can you please explain me that on what basis entry #14 #15 has been rated 5 star , i am just curious ,and mr creator be clear what you want otherwise we will not get the quality ...one way you are saying you need quality logo and in other way god knows ..

Hi all, I will clarify again that Blank Canvas is NOT the name of the business. You need to provide a name. I have also rejected all applicants that have given logos with any BC initials or lettering in the icon/logo. Lettering underneath/beside/ontop an icon is fine. Must not be incorporated into the logo. I have updated the description to reflect this. Thanks for your time.

Hi all, please note the name of the company wont be given. We are looking for outside of the box designs and names. Blank Canvas was a reference to the 'Start from scratch' mentality that we wanted to portray in our new design, NOT the business name. Again, as per the description, names and logos that describe our business to the end viewer is key.
