Contest Brief

We are a Music Company and we want to create a "digital painting" based upon a Photograph. It is of Terri Nunn from the band Berlin.

The image we want the painting of is attached. The "painting" can either be a real hand painted work (which we will scan) OR can be a digital manipulation / creation using Photoshop tools and techniques. We are open to both.

The photo however must be re-created and effected however so it does not look like a photo any more. It must look like (or be) a painting. Also if you have the skills to create a new image that is OK too.

The deliverable is a high res Image in PSD form. With all layers. Or if done by hand a hi-res scan of the physical painting.

Some other points
- It (probably) has to be Colour. if you come up with something amazing in Mono then you never kow
- Please DONT put it on a CD template / CD case / mock up
- Please DONT put any text on the image. We will add that later.
- Please keep the image Square.

      Sure... what ever software you want. We just need the final result in PSD. Its pretty important that it looks like a painting and not comptuer generated

    Thanks for all the hard work guys. A lot of entries. Some great ideas. However the main problem is that 95% of them look like Photoshop with Effects. NOT like a painting.

    Just about all the images have the top of Terris head cut off.... Plesae use the image without her head being cut off. Also NO TEXT, No templates

      Just click on a thumbnail to see the heads unscathed, only thumbnails displays the cut (they're generated automatically)
