I am looking for the creation of a logo and a complete visual identity for a company called Fabrica. I am not looking for just a nice logo, but for a well-thought-out visual system with character, a distinct language, and long-term usability across different applications. The identity should feel modern, but not overly minimalistic or coldly technical. I do not want a sterile startup aesthetic, nor an overly artistic direction. It should feel contemporary with character – bold, memorable, and slightly distinctive. The name Fabrica suggests production, process, a workshop, but I want the brand to feel current and confident, not like a traditional “factory.” The logo must work in real production environments. We will embroider it, engrave it with a CO₂ laser, cut it from acrylic, and apply it to metal, wood, and textiles. Because of this, it should not be complicated or dependent on shading or gradients. Laser engraving cannot reproduce soft gradients, so the logo needs to function in a single color. It should ideally be built from lines, shapes, and possibly dots. Dot-based shading is acceptable, but traditional gradients are not. Clarity and strong construction are essential. The logo should combine a wordmark and a symbol. The symbol can be based on initials or be more abstract, but it should have strength on its own and function independently. In addition, I am looking for a broader visual language around the logo – shapes, textures, and graphic elements that can be used across the website, social media, packaging, labels, and product visuals. It would be ideal if some elements of the identity subtly reflected what we do – embroidery (suggestions of stitching, structure, rhythm), printing, laser cutting, layering of materials. I am not looking for literal symbols like scissors, needles, or houses. I prefer a metaphorical approach. For example, if a brand has a bear in its name, its element might be claw marks rather than a bear illustration. That is exactly the kind of thinking I am looking for with Fabrica. The symbol should carry meaning, not illustrate a tool. Fabrica should represent a modern company with a high-quality, professional approach to both customers and production. We do not want to appear cheap or like a fast, low-end print shop. We want to primarily attract larger or more professional businesses and brands that also aim to stand for something meaningful. We want to be seen as a partner, not just a supplier. Quality, precision, stability, and reliability are core values. The company focuses on branding production – embroidery, textile printing, poster printing, promotional products, stickers, acrylic lettering, light signage, boards, and essentially an all-in-one production of branded and promotional items. The identity needs to support this wide scope without feeling fragmented. In terms of color, I would like to work primarily with black and a soft off-white as the base, complemented by blue and dark blue. I am also interested in holographic blue tones – transitions between deep blue, turquoise, violet, and slightly greenish shades. I am attaching a reference image of damselfly wings, whose colors I find very appealing. I do not want a cheap effect, but rather a sophisticated, iridescent feel that can appear in backgrounds or graphic elements, while the logo itself remains clean and functional. At the end of the project, I would like to receive a complete color specification, including defined brand colors with HEX. All logo files must be delivered in SVG format (fully vector-based). This brief is not meant to be a rigid set of rules. I encourage creativity and your own perspective. My goal is for you to understand the direction, character, and ambition of the brand. Fabrica should become a modern, high-quality, and memorable brand with its own visual world – one that works long-term and functions in real production environments.
