SydStart Speaker Spotlight: Niti Shah

If you’re attending SydStart 2015 with hopes of getting a substantial amount of fresh insights on marketing, then you shouldn’t miss Niti Shah’s talk. Niti is the Asia Pacific Marketing Manager of HubSpot, an inbound marketing software company. She manages content strategy, co-marketing partnerships, and brand strategy for Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

   

Niti spent two years at HubSpot’s US headquarters before transferring to their Sydney office in July 2015. She joined the company in June 2013 as the Head of Email Marketing. Her role was to generate new leads and move existing leads further down the funnel via email marketing campaigns and marketing automation.  

In July 2014, she became the Lead Nurturing Manager and was responsible in growing and nurturing marketing qualified leads down the funnel through marketing automation, paid retargeting, website optimization, and internal automated sales enablement.

Niti entered the marketing field in 2010 as an intern at Jill’s List, a marketplace for consumers, doctors, and integrative healthcare practitioners. She did content creation, client communication, and customer relationship management. A year after, she leveled up and became the Marketing and Operations Rockstar of LevelUp, a SCVNGR company, which specializes in mobile payment, location-based services, and loyalty program among others. Niti did marketing campaigns and PR for big clients including United States Navy, Jeep, and IBM.

Prior to joining Hubspot, Niti was in charge of global product marketing and technical communications Color Kinetics, a division of Philips. She handled marketing research, case studies, awareness campaigns, and PR and global corporate communications.

The email and conversions specialist attended college at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and earned her degree in Business Administration, Concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Minor in English Literature.
